“Silks for Sale”,

photography contest winner.

2010 Cruise from Hong Kong to Athens.  Pictures:  "Silks for Sale" won the on-board photography contest and was taken in Goa, India.     The camels beneath the tree were taken near Luxor, Egypt on our way to a Bedouin camp, where we enjoyed tea and unleavened bread.  The woman making batik was taken in Putrajaya, The Intelligent Garden City in Malaysia.   The camel was sitting on a hill overlooking the pyramids in Cairo, Egypt.  The Great Sphinx of Giza was photographed in front of Khafra's pyramid and was a highlight of the trip.  We Nabataean city.
